Thai is a small Podenco mix with a gentle heart, though he struggles to build courage around humans. He feels most comfortable when he’s surrounded by other dogs, as they provide the support and security he needs.

Thai arrived at the shelter in February 2019, and since then, he’s slowly been learning to trust. When you first meet him, he may run away and bark, but on the right day, when he feels brave enough, he’ll gladly accept a little attention from kind humans.

We’re looking for a special home where Thai can continue to grow at his own pace, with people who will understand his needs and offer him the patience and love he deserves. A home with other dogs would be ideal, as he thrives in their company.
